CHRISTINE LUSTY, born April 14, 1985 to Gary and Nancy-Lee Noell, was the fourth of four children; girls.  From an early age Christine benefited from the creative influences of her parents; her father being a custom saddle maker and her mother an aspiring author.  The people and places that her parents exposed her to as a child, traveling to shows with her father’s business, were also guiding influences which helped to develop her love of the creative arts.

At eighteen, and only a few weeks out of high school, Christine packed her every worldly possession into her vehicle and headed for California.  Both of her parents had originated in the San Francisco Bay Area and she had always dreamed of returning there.  Christine currently resides in Livermore, the eastern most city of the Bay Area with her husband and two children.

Christine’s primary genre has always been people, though her techniques and style have evolved and diversified taking on a more abstract quality recently.  Her color palette is mixed near exclusively from the primary colors, her media primarily acrylics. Recently Christine has also been exploring watercolors, photography and sewing.  Aside from her personal projects, Christine is also working on illustrating and self-publishing a children’s book her mother authored.
